Journal Response to Intercultural Communication Stumbling Blocks Communication is an important detect element to be able to survive in the world. Since there ar many differences between cultures in countries, communion isnt that easy. I believe that the most challenging stumbling blocks, or barriers to communication across cultures is the diversity in the countries cultures row, habits, traditions, values, and beliefs. In my opinion though, voice communication is the most significant element because even if several countries authorise the same language, there could be differences in meanings of words. In the reading selection, theres a part where an American fail gives her view. I disagree with her response, because from my experience, I think that foreigners are bouncy friendly. I went to Korea this summer, and I saw foreigners everywhere. Every time I passed by them, they would either smile or say a short greeting. In the other hand, I think that Americans are imp ossible to get to know.

It has been close to five weeks since I spend a penny been here, and I stand felt that they discriminate foreigners. Theres also a part in the text where an multinational student says that he/she happens isolated and uneasy when he/she doesnt understand what the American is talking about. I sometimes liveliness the same way too; when Americans say a japery and I dont understand, I pretend that I do and laugh along with them.
